The project A Place on Earth presents works created by the artists over recent years within the framework of the Instytut Avtomatyky group’s program. Focusing on the ruins of the Kyiv Institute of Automation building as a lifeless organism, the artists attempt to rethink obsolete remnants permeated by the blind propaganda of the Soviet utopia.
Relying on an intuitive working method connected to direct interaction with space and the creative analysis of found objects, the artists seek to identify new symbols and mechanisms that influence the articulation of personal identity.
